I can't say I feel the same way about the other series, but I probably went too far there (no doubt still feeling burned by Destroy and Revolution's ending when I wrote it). All's good if you're enjoying what you enjoy though.
It seems like some cuts to the last 10-15 chapters really could have been made to make the pace less lethargic. Being a monthly series and getting bogged down in tangents leaves the pacing in a bad spot.
I don't feel like there was ever going to be a huge drawn out ending with this series, so I'm happy with what we got. It was always a weird snapshot of a weird life in a weird place. Long live the postal service!
