Well, certainly Maname seems pretty good at manipulating the other people, especially those more "simple minded" like Momoe and some others. Of course she couldn't manipulate people like Kuuroo, because she's the (stubborn) leader of the island, who can't change her mind until it's too late.

But also many villagers don't even believe the island is going to shit, because they believe what the old Kuuroo said...She said there's no need to leave the island, so for many of them there's no need to build a boat either. There's no much time left of course, considering all that happened so...

No bro, I'm upset that (some) readers of this manga aren't capable to express more sentiments than hate or love for the characters. You know, I don't particularly love or hate anyone in this story, because they are all, more or less, equallly flawed. Yes, even Torago is full of flaws after all...

There's a good chance not all characters that you hate in this manga will get what they deserve...you know that, don't you?
