Rip another of Azumi’s men

So tobizaru has survived again! Huzzah!

I wonder if it is finally Tobizaru’s time. He’s lasted a surprisingly long time for a male side character in Azumi. Maybe he’ll somehow weasel his way out again.

Perhaps at the end of this arc Botenmaru will sacrifice his life to save Azumi and he will redeem himself. Until then, he’s just a spoiled brat. Ew

Azumi seems to have a thing for non-violent, innocent men like Shunjiro (before he turned all evil) and Hyosuke. Makes sense considering Azumi already kills enough for 100 men.

Maybe this is some kinda masterplan to get Bontenmaru on her side 🤔

This was pretty hype chapter. Multiple strong characters in different factions.

Ah shit, it’s this arc. I forgot about it but I’m excited to reread it again.

Pretty much the obvious outcome. Azumi can’t beat Musashi because of historical reasons and Musashi beating Azumi would be a swift and anticlimactic end to this manga.

It’s nice to see Azumi having fun again.

This arc was tough. Definitely Azumi’s biggest blunder so far. It was pretty good, I don’t think as good as some of the past ones but it was certainly enjoyable to see those twins die and Azumi grow even more infamous.
