You know, I kinda like how fast Azumi comes across new characters. I mean most of them end up dying in the end but it’s great meeting new people!

I’m glad Yae survived. And with Sakon, remember that these fencers have basically only known the sword their whole life. Live by the sword, die by the sword and all that. To them, there is no better way to die than to die in a duel with someone you admire. And Sakon admires Azumi greatly.

I hope Azumi gets her reason to live back. She still must avenge grampa’s death.

Has grampa’s acquaintance turned traitor? Uh oh. Seems like a good time for Sakon to come and save the day.

This was a fantastic arc and Kiku’s a great character. RIP

Rip Kiku. One of the better side characters, now gone.

I love these little moments like the kids playing with the cleaver. Shows you just how powerful they are when all four of them can quite literally catch a flying blade without even looking.
