Oh good, either yet another fucking discord channel to monitor, or a flooded subreddit that I can't even post to anyway because I'm globally shadowbanned for some unknown reason (considering I didn't even USE my account for like six years)
I took it to mean that a lot more people are farming loot drops since he sold it because they're looking for that stone. By showing that it exists, and making that stone SO valuable because of its usefulness to specific very rich people, he's set off a gold rush, basically, which has flooded the...
Actually, this is a case where it would have vaporized nearly everyone at the level cap, as we learn in a couple chapters.
While special skills which the MC doesn't have would end up a force multiplier (as well as usually having parties to cover other aspects) this one was just SO overpowered...
Well, in this case his skill as it was actually was garbage for an adventurer, and he wasnt in any party long enough to find a way to be useful. He basically had a degree in oceanography yet insisted on working in the desert where his skills would be the least useful.

They're poor AI translations, they paywall all their stuff, watermark every page, have ass image quality, and they snipe series constantly. Rithar scans are terrible across the board. The only thing they often do but haven't this time is split the chapters.
I'm willing to bet they don't even...

But in this context, Manning the store, maintaining items brought in or under...
If he summons the wolf, that doesn't prove anything about how strong he is, merely that he tamed a monster that they already claim he took advantage of them to defeat. By hiding that he did so and beating the shit out if them personally, he shows he actually is strong.
That one also has him being a taming supergenius (from a hidden village where everybody is even more overpowered? I may be conflating a couple of others in there) and he's contracting with the 'God races' - basically the strongest of "beast" races which shoots his power way, way up.
With this...
If you want to go the suspicious route, there's no way to tell if you'd already tamed it and are pretending to in front of her. I doubt there's a visible or audible announcement of it.
