It does feel like it's taking a ReLife with a more adult premise. A bit weird having the childhood friends, backstory and even the Director and Senior roles revealed already but maybe it's taking a different approach than Relife.

I think I realised one of the fundamental issues this kind of story is missing a good supporting cast.. wheres the timid weakling who learns to grow fearless or the deliquent character who has battle and starts to respect the MC afterwards. Every male character apart from the MC shows Everest...
Wow... this character comes off like a shoujo rival and addresses it likes it is a flawed personality and has room for proper character development. Has this kind of premise ever been done. It's really interesting from the way this chapter does it.
