For the record, a lot of staff don't agree with sniping outside of very specific situations either. For example, I don't think sniping is right if the sniped group is up to date with a series and is doing a good job with it. In this situation, the sniping group is usually doing it in bad faith...

Try changing image servers

Try changing image servers in the reader advanced settings.

Try clearing all your cache as well.

New titles are not affected by filters right now.

You should be able to set it back to legacy and it should stick. If it doesn't, then something weird is going on.

Stealing or theft: "A person is guilty of theft if he dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it." Piracy might be many things, but it's not stealing. You haven't permanently deprived anyone of anything.

It's a service issue. Until there exists a service that offers at least 90% of all available titles for a reasonable price (5 USD /month), with new chapters available almost immediately after release in Japan, piracy will exist.

Not entirely down to China. When stuff from Japan get localised for America, sometimes things get censored too, so it goes both ways.
