I don't think the slime is an otherworlder. Remember, summoning heroes is a known thing, and since the slime is one of the Demon Kings, there's been plenty of time to eat heroes other than the current one.

I know they're doing well to be able to take that many outings, but how can they be well off enough that they can burn perfectly good (and likely expensive) pajamas?

My money's on 5 chapters. Enough to have a small arc, but not so long at it takes a full volume and enough that it can get back to the flow of things rather than dwell on it.

Just imagine if the next years' worth of chapters were all like this. ... I really hope that isn't what happened.
