Kind of funny, I saw the monster design and was like "oh, that must be a yokai", got temporarily blindsided by it not being a yokai, and then surprised by a yokai showing up anyway. With how spider lady is kind of shy, I wonder if she's a bookish type, and the "limited targets" the creepypastas...

Well considering that the point of her "taking responsibility" is because she's supposed to turn him into a magical cripple, I doubt that he'll get into a nice cozy political marriage with her, since the reason for the marriage is basically entirely contrary to him being the MC of a magic manga.

Feels a little silly to kill them all with berserk but not have it make them kill each other, and instead just act as a "make them explode with blood" ability. Making them kill each other would've been better thematically too, to insult all their talk about their "bond".

I didn't really get this impression at all, because it was clear from the start that he wasn't a villain, he's just the typical "works in the shadows" type of rogue-ish hero. A bunch of people in the story think he's a villain (because he never bothers explaining himself), but it's pretty clear...

So Michele is that one character in an RPG party who's really good at cleaning up random encounters, but once you get to a boss battle they're trash.

I kind of love how the cut-apart demons are just like "yeah Ruby turn us into a sick flesh golem!", just totally chill with being Frankensteined. I guess they can probably be split back apart pretty easily, so it's not a big deal, but still.
