It is, but if you look at page 11, he already had that blood on his mouth before Demonio popped out of the portal, and the chapter starts with him spitting blood because of the punch Demonio gave him last chapter. There's a lot of panels in this chap where he's not drawn with the blood there...

Guessing he somehow didn't actually hurt the guy, because there's a conspicuous lack of gore/effect on the sword potruding from his chest. One of the other guys probably made a chest portal or something.
