"Tasha" is actually a short version of "Natasha", which in turn is an affectionate or diminutive for of Natalia iirc ... while the short versions for Anastasia I have seen are "Stasia" [pronounced STAY-zha] or "Nastya". The tl notes showed the characters literally spelling something like "Shia"...
