From what we've seen about Buccellati unzipping his own body parts, I don't think that would work. He still controls his separated hands, and his separated heart still beats for him. And doesn't Giorno use the Stand's hands for healing? Giving Giorno someone else's hand won't give Gold...

We've seen something similar with Cheap Trick from Part 4. A Stand that persists after its host's death, and had to be literally dragged to hell, because that's the only way to get rid of it. These posthumous Stands are the worst :notlikethis:

Look at Giorno ordering everyone around, it's like he's their leader. Now all this nonsense everyone else was saying about Giorno being like their boss is starting to make sense. "Show, don't tell"!

So it's kind of like Cheap Trick? A Stand that persists after the user's death.
