Theres nothing wrong with commonly known terms or phrases being left as is when they fit. Things like siblings or itadakimasu are fine. Having just one random word though is weird. Frankly there are no issues on this translation, unlike the other one which is mostly unreadable. What a weird and...

No, it doesn't. Most of the time it's not handled well. You get people just replacing them with normal words without a second though, and it just ruins the reading of most things. Like there's that one dude who replaces every -chan with "dear" even if it really doesn't make sense and ruins the flow.
