Overall he just seems to be having trouble adapting to the remarriage. It's normal to feel like that when your family remarries. He'll probably get over it in a few chapters ,and then it will probably be a love triangle with his step sister as well.

So tamagoro's doujins are based, however this manga definitely feel like it was axed. The first 10 or so chapters were quite enjoyable, however it quickly got stale since nothing really happened. Like even after reading it, I can't for the life of me remember almost anything about the story...

And we're still no closer to getting any sort of answer. It's probably going to be the schrodinger's answer that only gets answered in the last few chapters before they get married or before it gets axed.

I really really hope the author isn't planning some stupid switcheroo in the relationship by making Hina fall in love with Tsukko and then pairing the new girl with Asahi...
