Pretty interesting start. I haven't read a manga-creation manga since Bakuman so this is pretty fresh.

I feel like you see this often in shonen manga with decent character development. Otherwise, you would end up with superficial, one-note characters.

Isn't that the whole point of the series, moments of self-reflection and having it parallel with her past journey? This series is about her journey with the Hero party just as much as her current party.
