So wonderful. I love this manga. Saki was actually pretty smooth for someone so consumed by gay panic the past few chapters.
I'll be buying the official translation when it releases but there's no way I can pass on reading when this is readily available.
Interesting that the scene in Koto's room ended right as Koto pushed Aya onto the bed. Usually that type of cut means we'll revisit the scene later to reveal things didn't play out quite like we thought.
I recall most of the comments were already pretty negative towards thos unrequited love chapters. But yeah, now that we know the manga is ending this way, all of that stuff feels like an awful waste of page space.
That does sound like this manga's speed. But we were just starting to move into actual romance with Kawa overhearing Yui say she loves her. Unfortunate timing for the axe to fall.
Wow that was a lovely first chapter. The girls showing up out of nowhere to talk shit was kind of weird, but I just love the dynamic between the two leads.
This seems likely. Two chapters ago we did get this panel of her looking all smug and knowing when Asuna was crying and Misono hurried her out of the room: https://mangadex.org/chapter/a3d06cd0-7e56-4931-bcbe-c2d84a9db34e/7
Ohhhh I had to go back and look at the credits just now. My mind just disregarded those doodled letters as nothing, so I didn't see it at all.
Now things make a bit more sense that everyone was talking about a "love triangle" since the TLer primed everyone with that question.
"Besides, I'm straight."
Yukari, there is literally no heterosexual explanation for you being in love with another girl and having sex with her...
Well, that was one of the endings of all time.
I found the contrast in your reactions to these two manga a bit funny though:
Sadistic Childhood Friend: One character is blatantly flirting with the MC - "Hold on...we don't know enough to say whether she likes her or not."
Green Tea Bitch: Newly introduced character has colored hair -...
Why are we assuming love triangle? Did I miss something? There's been nothing to indicate there's a third person interested in either one of the main couple.
People are assuming just because of Bai Yan's hair color? Seems a bit like jumping the gun to me.
I didn't think she was into Wakaba either...until this chapter. But I'm failing to see a heterosexual explanation for the way she behaved towards Wakaba:
"Come give me a hug and smell the perfume I put on for our all-day date today."
"I have fun looking at you, so let's have you try on more...
Oh yes time to get my toxic yuri fix!
Clearly Matsuri has a thing for Wakaba, but several times in this chapter it felt like she was being a bit of a wingwoman for Komaki. Wonder what she's aiming for. :thonk:
They're so sweet. Asuna is such a cinnamon roll.
Hopefully they won't have to hide their love as much after they graduate high school. But those foreboding couple of lines at the end means we'll have to go through a bit more drama before we can get there.
Well that stuff about getting around statutory rape if you can prove you're in a committed relationship sure is...interesting? I'm assuming the author didn't just make it up.
And the last page made me guffaw. Did not see that coming.
We literally just resolved a silly misunderstanding a few panels ago only to immediately jump into a new misunderstanding. Really author?
I don't know what's up with the author leaning so hard on the drama caused by miscommunication in this since the main story's drama is much more believably...
