Well, the pope guy seems to be more of a leadership or strategy oriented character, while MC is a frontline or you could say hero character, so in a 1v1 the pope would probably lose fast, but I doubt that he'll make it a 1v1 :p

Not saying that MC is a saint, but didn't he just get rid of people, who would've gone after him anyways? Plenty of strong people that he would've liked to eat that he didn't kill.

I like how there's no clear "good" side in this story, and everyone could be the "bad" guy or "hero". It's good when there's some grey shades of morality in stories just like in real life.

Would've probably become reality at some point, if no one interfered. Honestly, being forced into marriage is just "legal" rape with extra steps.
