Idk about the peaceful part, when the premise is that only miserable people get isekai-ed. Making a distinction between children of our world and children of that world is basically what the goblin did in the end.

Why though? I don't think that there was a rule that you can't break the opponents weapon on purpose. Hell, that William guy brough a freaking great sword, while everyone else had one handed ones, which basically guarantees that he'll break most people's weapons, if they try to parry or block...
