@Eridian boi, suspension of disbelief literally tells you that a fictional story isn't meant to be taken absolutely seriously for the sake of it's enjoyment. It does not support the argument that a fantasy story in a medieval setting should follow modern social ethics.
They did trespass...
@Eridian Dude, you're so delusioned by your own bias. You literally cannot apply the same social logic or sense to a fictional series, especially one that takes place in a medieval fantasy setting. The adventurers trespassed into the forest, they hunted the tree monster that was more than likely...
So they said the goddesses bless them with a job and SKILL, so I'm guessing MC's skill as an Appraiser is probably gonna be a copy skill or a thief skill, either way. Something that will allow him to grow infinitely.
@DeathDonut that's not what I'm questioning. I understand she was their pawn, but the manner they treated her, even as a pawn, did not make any sense. Especially because they discard her anyways.
What the fuck even is the point of treating your eldest daughter so poorly? Like, as a political ploy, she was very compliant and then you discarded her regardless because the younger sister just begged for it? So then what even was the point of raising her to begin with? There is literally no...
I can't ever take people seriously, calling something like this edgy. MC here literally just pulled a genjutsu, which is exactly what Itachi does in Naruto. Nothing edgy about it. A character that's constantly called one of the best anti-hero characters ever, not some edgy sad boi. I guess...
Wow, all these students almost dying to spiders and shit. What happen to the teacher that was all cool and shit and promised to save them when needed? I did think that she was the spy, but if the necromancer just gonna come out just like that, I guess not?
I know it's always been kind of implied that Dark will aid this kingdom because y'know it's like a falling kingdom with a modest king, meant to make the readers sympathize with them. But the way this all played out, with Dark basically being genderbent and nerfed repeatedly, as well as just...
Honestly, I'm gonna have to say that the art is bad, not mediocre. Plainly because the artist decided to make both of them look nearly the same, almost like they're brothers. So unless they literally are brothers or even twin separated at birth, the design is just lazy.
So it seems elemental weaknesses are quite literal, would be good for MC to just save some raw elemetns like some kind of water gun (water), lighter+spray (fire), portable fan (wind), flashlight (light), and a lotta rocks (earth)
@Nep considering their "guest room" was essentially a dungeon, I would assume otherwise. But then again, this is kind of a roundabout way to get rid of him, instead of just conventionally exiling him, so it could very much be a mistake.
I love how little shit the author kinda decides to give this series. Almost every dramatic moment comes up with an almost predictable but hilarious outcome, but it's especially funny to know that it's coming from the same author that made the renowned drama series Elfen Lied. And his other works...
Now if it's an imitation, why could nobody lift it but Orc can. Was it just THAT stuck? or is it just incredibly heavy? or is there an actual sentient/magic that only allows the hero to carry it, despite being an imitation?
I love it. It's just an edge lord's wet dream. But I mean, it also plays on something interesting. How exempt from rules and bureaucracy would a person of such absolute power be. Kind of like Superman but without a reason for compromise, especially after how tragic his background was made by the...
Love this. This shit is nonsensical but I find it interesting. How would a corrupt world try to handle or even compromise with a being thats beyond their power and understanding. Someone that was first hand a victim of the injustice of said corruption especially. Exempt of their oppression and...
That was such a shit realization. The girl herself, let her own conscious be influenced by other people, and continued to pander into a social belief that's incredibly prejudice. Then her conclusion is just that he's a child? So you're gonna dismiss the negative image placed into him and his...
