Did you notice the temperature? That's an argument for sitting low. Also, it's an electric stove, so you'd want to do löyly, which would be suicidal with that temperature up high in that small sauna. The electric ones get so dry and nasty, if you don't do löyly ...

On the other hand - how many female knights were there before 1917? Feels like 'dame' has different connotations than 'lady', and 'dame' might then denote a more active person, rather than be "the lady to a lord". Or? These things also shift over time.

What is it with all these "friends" in manga, who conspire to get the main characters into shitty situations? If a friend did that sort of thing to me, or my gf, I'd cut ties/tell my gf it's time to cut ties with that person.

Then again, my latest example of this turns out to be a manga, which seems to have been discontinued some years ago, which now is being redone properly, with a much higher level of quality - Isekai ni kita mitai dakedo dou sureba yoi no darou... So sometimes the first impression is wrong...

Agreed. But isn't that the fate of almost all interesting manga where you have some RPG/SF story with leveling/progression and skills/abilities? They start out interesting, and when the protagonist has leveled a bit, the mangaka runs out of cool ideas, and starts swooshing, and going close-up...
