Yeah, though I heard the ending was not well received at best; though the premise seems interesting despite the monsters looking goofy as hell.

Pumpkin Night, if you want a taste of what a Slasher um story's like in manga form, though it does get less so over in some parts of the story, especially in Part 2 and early on in Part 3; it's a nutty read though.

I guess that means Pumpkin Night is disqualified due to the high school element.

Sad that this got cancelled, which is a shame since it had potential to expand more on Naoko's backstory; at least we had some of it in Part 2 of the main series. But then again, I wasn't big on the art style of this, looks too fancy for my tastes.

I think I'm the only guy who kind of liked this due to the office setting, reminds me of Die Hard in some ways, though I swear this kind of set up could be done better.

More or less, though perhaps more so, although she looks like a slightly different person with that bandage on her, and yet she seems to see fine through it (and function too), as if the bandage was transparent or something.

You might say but remember, even Naoko can be taken down like in Part 1, despite the fact that it's quite obviously temporary.

I have a dark feeling that both Kazuya and Ryuichi will be killed off, at least (or rather "killed" in case of Kazuya given how superhuman he is; afterall, slashers usually never die permanently). And I say this since I smell a repeat of how the second half of Part 1 went with the roles reversed.

Just so anyone knows, the series got released in France just about a week ago, lucky ducks. Though I have a gut feeling an English release is around the corner, even if it would take a year at least for that to happen.
