Kind of late to be reacting to this now, but whatever. Melty probably meant something along the lines of "An ancient hero's sealed demon!", meaning "Rex-kun" here is a demon that was sealed inside that obelisk by an ancient hero. And yeah, I know Melty identifies Rex as an (invincible ancient)...
