That T-Rex character design is so bad. It's stupid, feels totally out of place.
How about even re-modelling it a bit more, so that it would at least remind of something original..

Yeah it's a minor detail, but I just can't help on hating it. It was even more terrible looking in the anime (and no, not in a scary way)..

Kind of late to be reacting to this now, but whatever.

Melty probably meant something along the lines of "An ancient hero's sealed demon!", meaning "Rex-kun" here is a demon that was sealed inside that obelisk by an ancient hero.

And yeah, I know Melty identifies Rex as an (invincible ancient) hero some pages later, but if you read any amount of scanlations, it gets obvious rather quick that the Japanese language can be pretty damn ambiguous when it comes to object and subject of a sentence.
