I am kind of tired of "I don't want you to die so i'm kicking you out of the team with no explanation whatsoever" because while it's better than being kicked out because the team is full of complete dunces who have no brains. It's still not a good storybeat. (especially when the rest of the team...

the big difference between Metis going rogue and an LLM getting prompted into a publicity stunt is also that within the fiction of this story Metis is capable of acting on her own power while an LLM will do nothing if you don't prompt it first.

A cautionary tale about patriotism. They doom our yuri and then yuri responds by dooming the world.

"I reincarnated as the emperor's half brother but my mom is the reincarnation of the goddess so I still drew the short straw" the hit new isekai coming to you right here right now!

not for Shien, it's heavily implied in an earlier chapter if not outright stated that nothing happened to Shien. But that the sheer boredom and loneliness of not having Tama with her to manage the aspects of her life outside of alchemy turned her into who she is today. Falling into a deep...

Both of them yelling for Lily to catch it fortunately the spirit of 1000 volleyball players has been beaten into her so she can perform instead. The greatest spike of all time.

you know I really like that Michelle's dad just deserved it. is it wrong for him to be assasinated for whatever shady reasons the state has? probably. but is it good to free a child from her abusive father absolutely!!!!!!

absolutely love love love love! That Miranda is just the most innocent normal girl imaginable. If there was EVER a moment where Rosalia would stop to re-evaluate her choices it is killing Miranda who is obviously not queen material in the slightest and thus would not, could not harm her cause at...

It continues to be so interesting that we never actually get to see Honami speaking. if she on screen she's purely non-verbal which certainly gives her a very cutesy vibe but also it means we just don't get to see things from her perspective she quite literally does not have a voice in this...

oh Rosalia.... It's fun to read a story that tells you exactly how things will blow up in the end. But still what a terrible shame that Rosalia just cannot let herself be safe, The fact that she's still bringing up Bella years into what should be her happy ending really shows that she cannot let...

It's such a classic beat at this point "and then i'll leave so they won't miss me too much oh whoops actually that gives them abandonment issues and now they'll never leave me alone again"

look you can't fault Kagechika he's just got evil vibes.

Kind of odd for Sandra to talk about wanting to help Sauri get a fiancee so he could strengthen his position for inheritance when she knows Berna is gunning for it and she's much closer to Berna like. Sure we don't need to keep hating Sauri if he's shaped up but also don't help him at your...

yeah his mistake was trying to get in Kunon's blindspot. He doesn't have one of those.

Very funny to see the what if they failed bonus being so casual. Oh man we shouldn't have looked inside the face obliteraing briefcase our bad.

it's a real shame it has to be this way because Abysmal is an incredibly cool manga but alas. I do hope you'll be able to your hands on the other chapters eventually.

yeah wait what. credit page saying you're only going to translate some of the chapters because the only source you can find doesn't even have all of them???

Yeah hmm, the second half of Airi's perspective where we were supposed to see her mend relations was kind of skipped over huh. I guess they want to focus more on her actually reforming the church but if the next chapter is just already the epilogue then the central character of this entire...

Ah, sae-san sucks. But also even if she sucked before dying I'm sure she didn't do anything worth being actually murdered over. A classic case where the villain is wrong but also clearly hurt and lashing out. Sucks.
