Seems like she was originally considering jock friend as a candidate but I think she sorta messed up by incorporating him into the group so early on. What I mean is, compare: I've been friends with this girl since we were kids and am secretly in love with her, but she ended up with my best...

But really, Imp strikes me as a typical straight dude degenerate who thinks he can handle most fetishes when really his tolerance for masculine stuff is super low. Like forget futanari stuff he probably can't handle two masculine dudes kissing.

Speaking of it's super weird that he didn't come up when they were adventuring with that girl who uses dragon powers? The one who was super self-conscious about having scales on her face. You'd think that they'd bring up the guy they know who also has scales on his face, especially since they...

I was thinking it's either art of people with two dicks or specially made dildos. Not particularly daunting.

... Didn't we already see a guy with scales? Yep found him in chapter 6, the tavern owner had scales on his face and wasn't hiding them at all. Maybe this new girl is just being self-conscious?

@WillTell You guess correctly! Japan gets hella earthquakes so in 1981 they changed the building codes so that new buildings had to be significantly more resistant to them. So yeah that's one of the things people check when looking for apartments.

Might wanna add a translation note explaining that the characters are (I'm guessing) using the phrase "首になる" (kubi ni naru) which means "to get fired" AND "to be beheaded."

Reminds me of a program I saw where someone tried raising wolves like puppies as an experiment. Apparently the difference is that wolf puppies won't pay attention to you.

Ugh how will we ever find these kids... Better leave the dog that can teleport behind lol

Wonder if it's intentional or not that MC's been bossing Jelly around for the past few chapters even though they have zero established relationship. Maybe I missed it but I don't think we saw her hire him?

But really, her suggesting they spend the money on themselves is a pretty mild (and correct) interpretation. I was wondering if it was going to be something like, MC gave us a ridiculous amount of money to check in on this dude -> She wants us to check up on him in a way that's illegally expensive.

Also, feel like there could be a lot more thematic connection between the "beastmen" and their human forms. Jelly in particular doesn't match at all? His regular form is super skinny and draped in void and his hair is going everywhere like threads and then his alternate form is a big dog that's...

Ok yeah Kanna's definitely not an official maid. Probably just wearing her sister's clothes.

My thought is it's sort of a corruption that is mostly physical? Looking at the parts about her when she was sick and her now it feels less like she's a completely different person and more like meeting MC allowed her to indulge in some inclinations she already had. Come to think of it MC is...

Hmmm, faking to get sympathy or did the cat kick his ass immediately...

Haseo shit like this is why no one should tell you secrets lol

To me it seems like the deal is a) the Dainagon's family is powerful enough that they could kill him with zero consequences, b) some people that powerful would lash out at him and maybe other low ranking people in the immediate area if the Dainagon died, and c) he doesn't know Nakatsune or the...

But really... (Looks at Kunitsune, Tōtsune, and Mototsune) ...what the heck would their dad's face look like :worry:

Oh right, I just remembered a relevant fun fact. The first recorded case of rabies in Japan was in the 1700s, and they managed to completely eradicate it in the 1950s. Meanwhile it's been a problem in China (and a lot of other non-island countries) for thousands of years. That's why none of...

Either way it definitely feels like MC wandered into a front lol
