I genuinely hope this is like one possible route (and not even the canon one), because it all just feels too dumb to be true. The story so far wasn't so rushed and so... shit, for lack of better words. I don't even mind Honoka winning, just don't let her win with a fucking letter she could have...

I've lost a few brain cells reading this one, ngl

a worthy love rival indeed

I mean, at this point it's not even that surprising when someone finds out about them being replicas... To begin with, it's strange that people are keeping it so secret, but I guess we wouldn't be getting any cliffhanger otherwise.

is she singing Michael Jackson?

sure, I wasn't expecting the greatest of stories, but damn is it going downhill nonetheless...

Some people in here are in serious need of mental care, but I get the feeling it's all wasted breath (or I guess fingers), given how far gone some of the comments are. Thank God I wasn't born with a single brain cell...

Little reminder that Michio did it with Roxanne the same day he bought her, although the way it was depicted felt like more time had passed. Not to mention all slaves are taught "things" by the merchant before being sold to someone and it's a stressed point in every transaction, so... I'd say...

why do I feel like this new girl won't be just a friend, but Reina's ally in all sorts of stratagems...

Dang, I can see why this would be the beginning of a LN volume, great stuff.

that's why you shouldn't drink, kids

That maid needs to be assigned extra duties in the bedchamber, not fired, man.

You're right that it is expected, but that's how any introverted country would eventually become, and it's not necessarily just hollow praise. You find it weird, and sometimes I feel the same way you do here, but Japan is built upon the ideals of community and appreciation for the small things...

The timing is a bit hazy, but I guess Suzumi wrote the letter almost right after the festival and then fell into a coma... The parents acting like that still doesn't sit quite right with me, but it's whatever at this point, Suzumi's arc is over anyway. At first I assumed replicas were just a...

I actually wanted to dive into that bit about Nao's temporary death as well. All things considered it was an equivalent exchange, but it's undeniably a convenient one: generally, a replica disappears only upon their owner's command (or so we're told), so her disappearing entirely without leaving...

I love the inner turmoil of each replica and the way each of them seemingly have completely different "lives", if we can call them such, but there is a fundamental issue my brain can't seem to avert its attention from: the concept of "replica" isn't explained at all. Sure, each one of them is...

I can probably answer all those points with one word: women.

Man, this story is so underrated, but I guess not many can appreciate the human drama that lies beyond the premise, because of how absurd it sounds. I must confess that the similarities with Haruki Murakami's books might be one of the reasons I like this one, too. But unlike Murakami, I hope...
