This was great. Of course we all love to see various tropes in action, but it's also those tropes that make a work like this stand out, because it doesn't use any. It's an original and creative story told in a heartfelt and creative way.

I think this is going just fine. It's not like it turned bizarre or suddenly switched to a totally different vibe. Or even took a long detour completely away from the main characters, such has been happening in Yuri is My Job. In a romance, there's always going to be a phase between recognizing...

And Koga is a teenager, doing pretty much what teens are supposed to be doing at this stage in their lives. There's plenty of time later for her to be crushed under the wheels of responsibilty for the rest of her life.

I don't like to know that the author draws disturbing stuff, but this particuarl manga is REALLY good. It's not fluff and some serious things are talked about, but it's deep and complex with lighthearted bits, and has a completely happing ending for everyone. And no love triangle, etc. tropes.

I'm definitely putting this on my list of manga that is waiting for content to build up, so I can come back in a few months and read the comments about the latest volume before continuing. I just cannot handle it otherwise. This kind of stuff really bothers me with thoughts that stick around for...
