Wow, that’s where I stopped. The story just got “Meh, I’m not invested in this anymore.” Even when the hero from Russia died, I felt nothing because no attachment was made. Started good but I just don’t care now.

Yea, nothing can be explained. I get it’s chapter 0 but there is nothing compelling me to continue. So I’m letting it sit here. If this was meant as a slow burn, you have to strike the match first.
