Anko-chan's story seems fairly familiar if you've read BMSG (Boy Meets Shinrei Girl), which I find rather interesting.

According to Yuritarou they want it be like an all ages romcom but we'll see how the story progresses with that in mind.

I remember Yuritarou mentioning that they'd like to forget their previously darker and sexually charged works so perhaps it's (Anko and Kaya's) just the direction they want to go in from now on.

Rather unfortunately There was a final volume planned but due Yuritarou potentially receiving a notice I believe chapter 12 attempts to condense everything within 40 or so pages.
