What's the status on the official English release for this series? Seems to be unavailable to read in the US. Does anyone know a country it is available in? Or are they just no longer licensing this series?

@Tsukinotaku If you check out the Viz link, they let you preview quite a bit of each volume. 66 pages of volume 1 for example.

@Tsukinotaku the digital raws are available online as well (see retail links above), or do you just mean you can't find a pirated copy that you can read for free?

@Tsukinotaku I'm pretty late but you can buy English digitals on Viz or you can look for secondhand copies of the old TokyoPop physicals (same as Viz digitals, but if you prefer reading physical)

Thank you so much for picking this up. Are you planning to continue, or only doing chapter 1? I haven't taken a close look at the differences in the magazine and volume releases yet, but I have purchased and ripped the first volume if you need it for anything.

The artbook is great, I received mine about a week ago. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a way to support the creator of this manga... or if you just want to see more cute Usami (and others.)

@marconii2002 we're still alive, just no members confident enough in Japanese to translate things ourselves. Alcafus TL seems to have dipped out, which is why there have been no releases. We recently discussed a new project with a different group/translator, so we might release something...

@NotEnoughCoffee why not just rip it from EBJ? All of the volumes are available there...

@BerserkRemastered ignoring the mostly direct translation rip, down to which words are bolded/emphasized (from what I bothered checking through), what exactly do you find higher quality about the art? Do you just mean that some of the colored pages aren't greyscale, or is there something else...

@mungobungo typically fan translations are considered a grey area especially if a series isn't available in said language officially. Copy/pasting the official English translation to your (worse quality) raws is not a grey area. This is hardly different than ripping the digitals and uploading...
