Could you add a disclaimer that User-Agent spoofing is discouraged? As in, pretending to be a browser and thus hiding the fact that its automated traffic will get people banned, at least a comment that warns about that would certainly help people out

It would be tedious for whoever staffer deletes them too, and its a welcome deterrent for having users request hundreds of posts deleted until older discussions look like a wasteland of broken up and incoherent nonsense or we have to stop the process and make everyone else mad. But we can meet...

For matrix the only usable clients i know of are element.io and cinny xmpp is too old for me to really care about it for any tool to get widespread adoption, you need centralization.

Quite good for a learning project. One Issue you might run into is that i dont see any ratelimiting in place, so its a question of luck and how long your script runs until you inevitably get rate limited and potentially ip-banned. easiest would be to place some kind of "sleep for 200ms" thing...

Thats something you can bring up with the forum software developers if you want, but I predict it is a tradeoff between performance and convenience
