I like the revisions, more character for Phoenix Man, and Saitama punching into a non-physical space really amused me.
I also liked the previous version, but this approach feels more unique.

I'm very tempted to view Skull Knight's talk at the end as something that breaks the 4th wall, really a message from the author to the readers about what will happen to Berserk...

Hm, it seems that the Kars blade stand in the stairwell belongs to Tooru and is creating the Head Doctor projections, but what if:

- Tooru is an underling with the calamity/projection ability, using it to protect his boss

On page 17 of ch 433, which shows the hands for the first round, the top panel shows the referee shuffling the deck, and the deck is later shown face down on the table.
Maybe that suggests there's some randomness in how a number gets translated into a hand, otherwise shuffling seems...
If the game picks the best possible hand for given number from a pool of remaining cards, what happens if two hands in the same round conflict?
