Those sudden scene shifts are a little disorienting, i gotta say.
"Oh no I cut my finger and one of those magic stones absorbed itself into the wound, what does that mean? Anyway I started practicing with the crossbow..."
I really don't understand the almost universal desire to provide tragic backstories for the people that are against the MC. They almost never make people care about these characters like the writers think they will.
I'm just expecting in the final chapter that both Yuri and Kolle are somehow back to life, because all we really need for this shitshow to be complete at this point is for neither of their deaths to have mattered.
Wait, did something get skipped? How did she get into that state from the start of the chapter and why was everyone going on like it was something the readers were shown?
