@pdonk No. I think it's best not to overthink it. My bet is that the author simply overlooked it. He forgot to add in Mouse's "Looks great?" message in the next panel.

@mako992 Yeah, my bad. My first mistake was interpreting ある as "to feel alive/to exist" (https://jisho.org/search/%E3%81%82%E3%82%8B), which kinda affected the succeeding context for me. Idk, it felt fitting for me since she was sweating/hesitating in the first half lol And Dog just asking...

@Coriander Is that so? This release is way off then. I interpreted the 4th dialog as [Croc] [Dog] [Dog] because only the right-most dialog was "squiggly" while the rest were smooth lines (like Dog's on the second panel). It also didn't feel right that Croc wouldn't respond first before Dog...

Wasn't too sure with Ms. Dog's first dialog (今日めっちゃあるね) but I hope I translated it correctly.

TL Note: He didn't actually say "Time is gold", he said something more of "Time is precious (so don't be late)" which I just thought that "Time is gold" is the most proverb-sounding equivalent that carries a similar meaning.

@VINT64 If you recall an earlier chapter he imitated 6 o-clock by opening his mouth straight. In this one though, it's a poor attempt at a 5 o-clock. (Probably 5:55 at best)

@youkame Yeah Japanese twitter has made tons of fan-made endings. We're not that far behind lol. As long as the author hasn't leaked the ending, we're just as up to date as Japanese twitter. I'm just not posting them immediately because I'm busy.
