@Demotivator Greenland sharks don't use echolocation though, I think the author would've chosen bats if that was meant to be a hint. I think the greenland shark has a bigger metaphorical role here (ancient, long life span, only swim in the depth, loner, toxic meat, blinded by parasites, etc.)...

LOL I was the one who mentioned the eye parasites, but I thought it was metaphorical of Souichi being blind from the truth / taken advantage of - not literally blind and thus connected to his echolocation ability as the author seems to have implied here.

Grrr I hate the fact that everything Leader said makes sense but Baku's opponents have always been wrong when they explain what they think he's trying to do.

Such a good chapter, can't help but respect the author! My theory here is Baku wants to get to 9am in as few rounds as possible even if that means dying a couple more times. Perhaps he's worried that the more time goes on (i.e. measured), the more likely Leader will notice the trick behind it.
