As for me, well, I'm enjoying seeing Baku suffer for reals. It adds a lot of tension to the whole ordeal. To tell the truth I would like to see him lose.

Although, judging by how rushedly this Surpass the Leader was placed just at the end of an arc, my guess is Yakou will die without declaring a winner.

I'm surprised someone apparently mentioned the eye parasite thing...I didn't notice it had been brought up at all until this comment section. I had completely glossed over the Greenland Shark mention in Baku's dream.

The more interesting point is that Baku is already suspicious of Leader having such a capability. I wonder what the mechanics of it are. Does Leader impair his own vision (forget how to see?) in order to heighten his hearing? Or is it just something he's learned from a young age?

LOL I was the one who mentioned the eye parasites, but I thought it was metaphorical of Souichi being blind from the truth / taken advantage of - not literally blind and thus connected to his echolocation ability as the author seems to have implied here.

I wonder if Baku will 'waste' a turn holding onto the 'kerchief to see if Leader tsks multiple times in the round. It won't take long for him to be suspicious that he only checks after he does it at least once, though.
