@konzolmester That'd normally make a manga worst, but in this case, I think it's quite appealing. It's like watching an entertaining train-wreck, that definitely should be gruesome and horrible, but somehow continues to remain wholesome and interesting.

Imagine getting angry at a story because it's about a MC that fights against a world with an unfair culture. Not naming any names, but it's pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Lovecraft is "Edgy" that doesn't make it bad. The poorly written characters make it bad, but stop overusing the term "edgy" as an indication a story is bad. There are plenty of good edgy stories.
