I'm betting Mistgard and Canarium don't get along because of incompatible values, like Canarium believes all monsters are evil, but Mistgard just perceives them as animals trying to survive, and they peacefully coexist with the less dangerous ones.

I like how expressive her ears and tail are. Pages 8 and 9 make it really obvious. Found a typo on page 10. It says "they were said to excel against strong against monsters". The second "against" seems to be there by mistake.
