Most likely due to an out of sync between the different cache layers. The chapter themselves always exist, but depending where you are looking for them they sometime do not show. Personally i've had them show in my follow list, but not on the manga's page itself for example.

Small update on site slow down. I have been experiencing massive slow down around 6:20 GMT every day for the past 2-3 days (those are the days i realised it happening at that time). I am assuming this is due to some server backup, but the slow is very much massive and i would like to have...

I have come aware of an API hook for the mangadex website. The only entry point that i am aware of is for mangas only, while this is great it only retrieves the indexes of tags and not their name. Is there am accessible location to find which index (id) represent which tag. Thank you.
