This is absolutely worth the re-read for this level of quality. I never knew it would feel so refreshing to read a proper translation.

@uzuis5thwife the scanlation groups that did those chapters (Meraki/Jaimini's Box) pulled all their stuff off of Mangadex a while back. I found the missing chapters on readmng.com, but I'm sure there are other sites that also have them.

I already read to the ending of this series in Spanish, and I don’t think I felt so negatively about it as the translator apparently does. Sure, the conflict here feels rather forced (seems like the author decided to end the story abruptly for one reason or another) but I guess I was just along...

@eng1 Isekai Ojisan comes close on the “ugly hikimori neet suddenly builds harem” but just misses it. It’s a worthwhile but painful (in a good way) read if you haven’t already seen it. And Ojisan is a Sega console fan, so you know he’s legit.

@bobbyboi Thanks for the upload. If I may point something out, on page 3 “bare the weight of your sins” should be “bear the weight of your sins.” I’ve seen this a few times in this series, so figured I would mention it.

Seemed pretty straightforward to me. The nation that was planning a sneak attack suddenly attacked, but Duke Frank was privy to their wiles and had adequate protection prepared. Then that jade kingdom lady who the MC met several chapters back appeared out of nowhere and absconded with the goods...

This is definitely one of the best chapters yet.

Ugh. I really liked the original art. It was the main reason I was reading in spite of the rushed and contrived storyline. Not sure I’ll stay around for much of this generic isekai look.
