gonna keep it a buck fifty with you Mahiru is NOT in any way worthy of being treated as the best choice. Nothing wrong with people chanting "TOMBOY SUPREMACY".. but imo some idiotic logic going on there if you're being dead serious about Mahiru being the "superior" romantic option. While Miya beating around the bush with a 10-foot stick for this long IS absolutely frustrating.. some of y'all are only mad at her from a reader's perspective wanting progress and being ignorant to some of the shit Mahiru does like shoving his head into her breasts (technically sexual assault) and overall touchy behavior around him in front of other people when it should be dead obvious that it puts Yuu's reputation in jeopardy due to the possible scenario he gets wrongfully flagged as a creep.

I'll say it once more: There is no "best girl".. but only a "barely better girl". At least not until either Miya or Mahiru go through some character development and do some serious self-reflecting.

If Miya's crime is being too indirect.. then Mahiru's is the polar opposite being too direct. As in without respectful boundaries.

That's what I saw in Chapter 18.1. I hope they don't drag it out any longer, and then say she's just a distant relative or something.
Chapter 18.1 ends with the protagonist calling her Miya.
