This is about an idiotic couple fighting and then making up by the chapter’s end. You can imagine the kind of stereotypical cliches that they use to spurn these plots.

I’d only recommend if you want to get a quick fix of shoujo for the moment. The chapters are pretty self-contained so far and super formulaic, so I think it’s good for the occasional read.

I, myself, am pretty sick of these tropes, so I am dropping it.

Thank you for translating!!

Unlike other shoujos, this one actually has refreshing characters that aren't one-dimensional, personalities are well-established (and I'm glad the usual mc having 2 female friends who don't have any engaging conversations isn't a thing in this manga). Although some scenarios are unavoidably overused, none of the speech bubbles feel like empty useless shit or a chore to read, and I actually enjoy how the characters act. The mangaka does a great job so far at showing the personalities and the human-like interactions, which is absent in a lot of shoujos (e.g. physical contact, convincing friends, childishness in a hs setting, having a personality that someone can actually fall in love with, etc) and it's great to see different emotions come from the characters often. It's a cute manga.

it's not the best, but the male lead is actually pretty nice (but not unrealistically so) for once!
