Okay, let's break it down together.

It's common for Japanese culture to try to avoid conflict, so even if there isn't anything they would be guilty of, they apologize on reflex. Well, getting dunked on twice by nukes would make any hot blooded culture curl up.
She just found him out, so to get rid of any guilty feelings, he told her everything that happened to him and how'd he get that power. Stupid, really, but when you got middleschoolers, you can't really expect them to really think like adults off the bat.
As for her getting embarrassed like that, it's like the typical damsel in distress mentality, especially when you factor in that this is a time when hormones are raging.
Now that there's a connection between them, sharing some deep secret, and also awareness of each other as members of the opposite sex and with raging hormones, then they would blush.

This is such a stupid reason for the Author to involve characters like this. Why in the hell is the author forcing these twos relationship? It is so desperate and weird and cliché that it has become dumb.

Why is he even apologizing for? What did he do wrong?!! He didn't tell her that he had great powers, so he has to feel guilt and apologize? What???!! How retarded is that? There are literally zero reasons for him to apologize or feel guilt. He doesn't even know her!

Is she a girlfriend? Or a family member? Hell, is she even a close friend? No? Then there is no reason he should tell her anything at all. Absolutely nothing. There is no need for him to explain himself like that! It's his private matters, they are the ones who get involved with him first and dragged him into a fight where he lost his arm! And could potentially lose his life as well!!

If anything, it's the girl and the cat god who should be apologizing and feeling ashamed. They made him reveal sensitive info about himself while acting as though they are in the right!!

Get this horrible and stupid manga out of here. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

God, now I hate the author for creating such a stupid event. WTF??!?!?!?

Gigantic beta cuck MC. It's so sad that there's a bunch of manga authors who can't even write a good character.

@Manofthehour See, the problem with these tropes is that the MC often does it too soon. Let's say he was in a relationship for a while and was hiding it, it'd make sense to apologize.

But these authors often have the MC apologize way before they reach that point.

To be fair though, this story is rushed as f***... like, we are 19 chapters in, but in a normal shonen manga, we'd be like 60 chapters in.... this manga is just breezing through everything so fast we don't fully get to know the characters. He's literally "Shonen protagonist A-kun".

There is literally nothing else about him. Because every little thing about this story is rushed. Hell, even the first real arc happened way too soon.

@IronHeavy It's not him even being beta... it's the authors often rushing things.... like... a lot....

Like, if he and this girl got close and spent a lot of time together and then he revealed his secret and apologized, that'd be one thing... but to artificially bring closeness, manga authors often try to use this trope way early on...
