@Spinable The way I took it, since he erases the very existence of the demons he eats, the reason the demon existed in the first place has to be erased as well. Otherwise the demon would just come back to existence.

The problem with the power to erase everything that you eat and only Makima remembers means that no one would know about his power because all memories about the thing he eats are gone which means that he would probably generate a very small amount of fear simply because if he kills every devil he sees and then eats them the devils who see him kill and eat others would forget about him killing and eating the devil, if no devil remembers then they wouldn't be scared. But I guess it's all fixed because all devils hear the chainsaw after being reborn on earth, but that seems bullshit

The thing about the star that breaks minds; it doesn't exist anymore. That's why we have no idea what she's talking about in the context of the story. It was erased before the story began, just like the sixth sense and 4 alternate conclusions to life.
What is Arnolone Syndrome though? She listed that off when she was talking about things that exist in our world.

Chainsaw doesn't eat every devil and those who get murdered by him later return to hell where they hear how they got done in by Chainsaw. Thus the fear.

I just dont get something in this series why fckin chainsaw devil most powerful one. Isnt devil gets stronger when fear for then increase ( i know that devils now afraid of him because of his power and it makes him stronger and stronger but its bring us same question why chainsaw that overpower at beginning ).

I am the same as several others here, why a Chainsaw devil as the strongest one? I don't even fear Chainsaws and i am afraid of a lot of random stuff, besides that, amazing manga
