@bcubed As some one already said, English translated manga aren't always being read by the person who use English as their first language. I, for example, come from non-English speaking country and know a shit tons of English slangs but have never heard this Karen untill I came to this thread (and still don't know what it supposes to mean). Using slang in the translation is fine if the source material also worded the sentence that way but going out of the way putting in slang just for the sake of "why not" is too much.
