She's not forcefully trying to insert herself into the woman's life. So when you say she has no regard of if the woman is married or not you're completely wrong. It's like you're filtering out those panels while you read.
It's like you're filtering out all the panels where she's inviting herself to whatever-his-name-is-kun home under false pretenses. That's what I've meant when I'd said that she hasn't got any regard for mother's marital status - she doesn't care about it, not really. She just acknowledges it as an obstacle to her own happiness, ie reframes it in it's-all-about-me context.
And using the boy to get closer to his mother is not narcissistic.
It is when you pretend to be someone's friend and-or exploiting their crush on you just to get closer to their parent (of all people), not caring about any possible implications or consequences of doing such thing (regardless whether they'll turn out to be successful or not). And there's shit ton of possible consequences to consider.

Yes it's selfish but it's not a sign of a narcissistic personality. She's not intentionally trying to fool the guy into thinking she likes him, he's doing that on his own.

Manga like this is character driven and the protagonist and characters make up the manga, so when I'm talking about the protag I'm talking about the whole manga pretty much.
