I have a thought that came to my mind with the other comment section: What this people think a translation is? Because for me, the translation is about giving a messange from one language to another in a way everyone can understand, not necessarily being literal to the words wroten in the manga, comic, book, etc.
What point I want to make with this? It is jut that every time someone defends "literal translation" is this cases it seems that they are more "afraid" and "disgusted" from the word "Trans" them worried about the translation.

@ok668 I agree with you, I think that a good translation should not just literally translate the text, but also translate the flow and feel of the writing as well. Having something that captures the feeling or vibe of the writing is way more important than just google translating it one to one

Evidently there are often discussions when translators turn what should be “lolicom” into “pædophile” or “communication problems” into “autism” or when it “Genetics went one way.” turned into “He looks so much like his daddy.”.
Don't make this a single issue — there are always complaints when liberty with translation is taken for localization or politics.

The author's intent, not words, are what matter. In this case the author intended to write a trans girl, so the term was localised to trans girl. It's that simple.

If anyone wants to continue to complain about trans characters being included in things, however way they might be worded in the original, here's my advice to you: either put up or shut up. It's always the same people. It's always "hurr durr but that wasn't what the author meant in the raw!"

It's nearly always targeted at trans characters existing. So come on, if you hate trans people so much you want to insult or erase them in stories that feature them, do your own translations or stop complaining.

Completely agree.
I dunno why others always come to a generalized conclusion like "(You don't agree, you hate it so GTFO)" that whenever there's an objective discussion regarding its intent, they always pull the victim cards (into political view) which was never the problem in the discussion.

Trans characters are my favorite in any stuff for many many reasons in any aspect. It's kinda hurt if you generalized everyone who have critics and opinion as a hater. If none of their opinion matters then I could only wish you to have a very good day.

Evidently not — I can practically guarantee you there is more discussion going on about changing “lolicom” into “pædophile” or localizing units than there is about this niche issue, but you seem to have a case of single issue politics.
Localized translations are constantly criticized — I'm sure you remember the memes that came from Brock's “doughnuts”.

There's nothing wrong with criticising a localisation. What bothers me and the thing I'm specifically talking about is you, smol, and a few others always raising commotion when there's a trans character in something.

Criticising the infamous Brock's jelly doughnuts or the Dragon Maid patriarchy joke is one thing. But then things like the whole controversy about Lily from ZLS being trans is another thing, where tons of people were arguing the translators were secretly SJWs and that Lily wasn't trans, she was just a crossdresser or the like. Sound familiar? I see you in comments all the time bitching about people either theorising a character being trans or translating correctly that a character is trans.

Hence my request: either put up or shut up. We get it, you prefer femboys/traps and don't actually like it when they're just straight up trans. Just leave the subject alone already.
