Just don't turn him into a sudden love rival or something.
I really hope he doesn't become that "arranged marriage" partner for Kaguya so the Shinomiya group has a political marriage to bridge them with the Shijo group.
Maki calls Kaguya aunt so that means Mikado is technically her nephew, but we know from real history that things like that never stopped aristocratic families and political marriages.
That aside, I'd love to see him become an ally of Kaguya's in her bid to resist her brother's power.
