I'm actually really concerned about the mum. Her backstory is hinted at, but both her current day behaviour, her headaches, and the way she reacted to Asuka kissing her so much make me think that she's not really in her right mind. She seems detached from reality and like she's just floating through life. Makes me wonder if there's some kind of chemical imbalance in her brain.

Didn't hit me until now how fucked up this really is lmao. Both the mom and daughter are taking advantage of each other for their own reasons, most fucked up on the mom's side though of course (as she's using her daughter as an outlet for her longing rather than actual love)
