desire sensor is the opposite of what's described lol. the game knows you want a certain something (can be character or equipment) and gives you everything BUT those specific something. that's why lilisa goes all zen in the next panel.

it's more a silly fun urban legend in rng based games

In case of Card Game, you need 1 more win to finish daily, from then on the game would match you with as many Yugi opponents as possible. Either opponent uses a deck that counters your deck or places right card at right time.

I'm still wondering what's with eastern games and gacha. It's like it permeates their gaming culture to an insane degree, when in reality it's little more than gambling, and a heavily rigged one at that. And even still, the amount of money they make is nothing sort of ludicrous.

Why?
It's not just eastern game. Western devs also already being greedy with gachas and lootboxes. Did you know the profit EA get from FIFA lootboxes are bigger than entire Elden Rings games sold?
